Advanced RV Resort — Houston, Texas
Twas the day before the New Year, when all through the house on wheels
Erin and Mui were stirring, busy as bees.
The clothes were hung in front of the windshield with care,
In hopes that they would soon be placed in the bags that were bare.
OK, OK … I won’t butcher Clement Clarke Moore’s beautiful Christmas Poem any more than I already have. Suffice to say, the bags are no longer bare. All but the last minute items are packed in the suitcases we are taking with us on the flight to Miami on 4 January. Did we over pack? No doubt about it. But this is one trip where I refuse to stress about what is going and what is staying behind.
Yes, it can be challenging to pack for a long trip when one is living in a motorhome.
But Mui came up with a creative solution or two to make it easy … or at least easier.
It sure feels good to have this travel chore done. And the bonus … with everything put into the bags, we can once again see out the windshield of the Phaeton ;-)

Happy packing and Happy New Year.
