Advanced RV Resort — Houston, Texas
9:04a — we took the LF shipment of four duffels to the resort office for FedEx pickup … scheduled for sometime between 10:00a and 2:00p. Left a phone number for the driver to call us if s/he has any questions. Will monitor throughout the day.
We loaded the bags in the car yesterday evening, and …
… delivered them to the RV resort office for pick-up by FedEx today.
2:56p — just came back from the office and the bags are gone! Using the master tag ref number, I was able to track the bags … pick up was @ 1:49p … 11 minutes before the scheduled pick up window closed.
4:38p — we just received the retrieval confirmation from Luggage Free. It’s good to know that the FedEx guy who took our bags away was indeed the one scheduled to pick them up.
8:53p — all but the master tag shows that the bags have departed the FedEx originating facility in Houston. I doubt the bags were kept together when they were offloaded from the truck, so we’ll give the master bag a day to depart Houston before we start nagging LF with queries about any delays.
Delivery to Doral, Florida is scheduled for “Wed 12/21/2016 by 4:30 pm” per the website.
