Once you have traveled, the voyage never ends, but is played out over and over
again in the quietest chambers. The mind can never break off from the journey.

I don’t have much to write about today.
It was a wonderful day at sea — cool except when in the sun. I spent a good deal of it catching up on the blog … which will be up-to-date with this post. The internet was reasonably speedy, so I processed and uploaded some photos as well. I’m struggling to figure out how I am going to keep up the writing pace as our port visits come in increasingly quick succession.
We had dinner at the Polo Grill tonight. When we returned to the cabin we found an announcement for another immigration meeting with Australian authorities. The last one was before we began the current segment in Auckland. We missed the one port that meeting would have applied to when adverse sea conditions resulted in the cancelation of Norfolk Island. Fingers crossed we have better luck with our upcoming ports in Australia.
Tomorrow is another day at sea. I’m stocking up on the R&R now … I know we will need it before long.
P.S. Albatrosses were flying around today. Too far to identify them positively, but I believe they were royals and maybe a few mollymawks.
Royal Albatross doing what it does best – Flying!
With wing spans up to 11 feet (3.3 m), albatross are the world’s largest seabirds.
Foraging at sea, they live on the wing, returning to land briefly to nest and breed.
[Taken in 2015 – Southern Ocean … between Antarctica and New Zealand.]
P.P.S We are gaining back the second of the two hours we lost before arriving in New Zealand … yay!
