I’m not in the habit of posting to the blog when Mui and I celebrate a birthday or an anniversary. Not even when it is a milestone event … which this year’s birthday was for me. Yup, I embark upon a new decade … one that I hope will see us collecting more travel memories from around the world.
So, why am I posting about the big 6-0? It’s not like we did anything particularly special to mark the occasion. Well, I got a handcrafted card from a friend of mine that was so perfectly appropriate to the story covered in this blog that I could not resist.
The words describe me so well, but the 3-D globe and camera details
show the thought that went into designing this handcrafted card.

Thank you Sue … a birthday card to remember … just as I will remember the memories Mui and I made during the realization of our “Life Dream.”

Thank you, Erin. I had fun making the card, and half the fun part is deciding how to make it fit the person. Still, a bit thinking, "just a card, not really worthy of a post". Glad the card inspired you to share your milestone birthday, though! Everyone loves you and no doubt would like a chance to wish you a happy milestone day as well.
